2QR background and the organisation behind the innovation

2QR is a substance derived from medicinal plants. The plant of choice is Aloe Barbadensis, also called Curacao Aloe. As a cosmetic ingredient it is well known as Aloe Vera. On the island of Curacao in The Netherlands Antilles, 2QR Research BV has its own contract-manufacturing facilities.

In the middle of the Curacao Aloe plantation, the modern production facility extracts the gel from the plant leaves using a unique process that guarantees the highest natural percentage of polysaccharides. This extract is transported to Holland where the final processing step of molecular filtration takes place. The finished product is called 2QR, a watery substance with a fixed amount of Bio-Active polysaccharides.

What is 2QR?

2QR is a watery liquid with little smell or taste and a light amber colour. It is completely natural and derived from medicinal plants by a unique process of molecular filtration. It can be used as a basis in a variety of products aimed at the prevention and treatment of bacterial overgrowth and the problems related to it. Depending on the specific application and the concentration of 2QR it offers new product-propositions with great advantages:

• It is highly effective in blocking a wide range of harmful microbes.
• It can be used in combination with medication and has no limitations in usage or dosage.
• It is absolutely safe and natural and can even be used on babies, pregnant women or breastfeeding mothers.
• It does not affect good bacteria such as Lactobacilli.

2QR is unique for its 'soft impact' effect. Therefore it is ideal for prevention and treatment of bacterial overgrowth, related problems and discomforts. The problem with harmful microbes

Bacteria are all around, in and on us. They are a part of our life. There are good bacteria that we cannot live without and bad ones that can cause problems.

Mostly all is fine as long as there is a natural balance and bad bacteria do not start overgrowing and invade us. When they do, then all sorts of things may happen. Firstly, bacterial overgrowth can cause discomforts such as a bad breath or smelly feet. But they can also make us sick and cause infections, even death.

Until now there were basically two ways to deal with bacterial problems:

1. to prevent overgrowth and infection, all kinds of disinfectants is used.
2. in case of a bacterial infection or disease, there are a number of antibiotics available. In both situations the objective is to kill bad bacteria directly by hitting them hard with poison. However, these toxic substances have a downside as well. Because they are so toxic, they also kill good bacteria. They also have a negative impact on the natural healing process (our immune system). And last but not least, many microbes are becoming resistant to antibiotics which no longer work.

How 2QR works

2QR is a complex of polysaccharides. These molecules are in fact very long chains of small sugar-like parts. Dispersed all over these chains are small electrical charges. The secret behind the success of 2QR is this unique complex sticks all over the binding mechanism of bad bacteria blocking the bacteria so they cannot stick to our body's cells anymore and therefore cause any harm. When the binding mechanism is blocked the bacteria are actually neutralized. Because they cannot bind, they cannot eat, they cannot multiply, they cannot live and therefore cannot cause problems.
